“Yeah, it worked real good,” Curtis said. “We decided it was time to train Cosmic Cat so we tied the parachute on him and I took him up onto the top of the barn. I threw him off and he floated gently to the ground. It was fantastic.”
“This doesn’t explain why you’re all scratched up,” Mom said.
“Curtis attempted to throw Cosmic Cat off the barn again. He didn’t want to be dropped the second time.”
“Yeah, he needed a second parachute drop to make certain he was trained. He felt he didn’t need a second drop and he wouldn’t let me do it again. I tried to get him off me so I could drop him but he clung on real tight. I had to crawl back down off of the barn with him clinging to me. He sure has sharp claws.”
